INTERMEDIATE INSURANCE LITIGATION LAW CLERK
Laxton Glass LLP is a dynamic boutique firm practicing personal injury litigation and insurance defence.
We are in search of an Intermediate Litigation Law Clerk to join our busy team. We are interested in meeting applicants with 3 + years experience in personal injury/insurance defence.

- working knowledge of the Rules of Civil procedure
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the maintenance of document briefs and files
- Preparation and completion of file summaries
- Review files and preparation of mediations and discoveries
- Preparation of motion materials
- Drafting of Pleadings (notices of intent, jury notices, statements of defence, responses to FSCO material)
- Experience with trials and arbitrations (summons, witnesses, preparation of notices of intention and requests to admit, preparation of trial briefs)
- Responsible for follow up with lawyer concerning work activities
- Responsible for the follow-up of undertakings
- Conduct of Legal Research
