Candace graduated in 2005 from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English and also has a degree in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music. In 2009, she obtained her LL.B. (Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Ottawa Law Review.
Candace articled at a boutique litigation firm in Toronto. She then clerked at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, where she worked closely with judges and gained insight into judicial reasoning. Candace joined Laxton Glass LLP after her call to the bar in 2011.
In her spare time, Candace enjoys cooking, yoga, watching movies, traveling, and an inordinate amount of karaoke.
