Kerri was called to the bar in 2002 and joined Laxton Glass LLP in 2007. She represents insurers in all areas of insurance litigation, including first and third party claims, disputes between insurers, occupiers' liability, product liability and solicitor's negligence claims.

Kerri's statutory accident benefit practice includes assisting insurers with disputes over catastrophic impairment designation and entitlement to income replacement and non-earner benefits. She is often appointed counsel for an insurer for both the tort and statutory accident benefits claims for the same claimant. Kerri's practise also includes acting for insurers in multi-vehicle accidents, including most recently two claims each involving more than forty vehicles.

Kerri has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Financial Service Commission of Ontario. She has appeared before private arbitrators in both priority and loss transfer matters. She successfully argued a leading loss transfer decision, which determined when an insurer may dispute their insured's Highway Traffic Act conviction.

Kerri is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the Advocates' Society.

Kerri enjoys her time away from the office travelling, hanging out with friends, cooking and reading.
