Daniel was called to the Ontario Bar in 2003, after having graduated from Osgoode Law School in 2002. He joined Laxton Glass LLP in 2004.  He was admitted into the partnership in 2014.

Daniel has a varied practice involving tort and accident benefits claims.  His practice also includes various types of casualty claims, including slip/trip and fall cases, professional negligence claims and priority and loss transfer disputes.  Daniel also specializes in workplace safety claims.   Daniel also works on property loss or damage claims, as well as subrogated claims for insurers.

Daniel has successfully appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, Divisional Court and Superior Court.  He has successfully argued various summary judgment motions.  In addition, Daniel regularly argues right to sue applications at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal, and has been involved in several arbitrations at the Financial Services Commission, License Appeal Tribunal and before private arbitrators.

Daniel is a member of the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations, as well as Canadian Defence Lawyers. 

Outside of work, Daniel loves to spend time with his wonderful wife, their boy-girl twins, and with their friends and family.  Daniel loves to cook, travel, cycle and read fiction.  Admittedly, he also loves watching movies, and occasionally, less than thought provoking t.v. and streamed programs.
