Nicholas graduated from Western University with a major in History before receiving his J.D. at Queen's University in 2014. While in Law School, Nicholas volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada and was a caseworker at Queen's Legal Aid. He was a summer student with Laxton Glass LLP in 2013 before completing his articles with the firm in 2015. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2015 at which time he joined the firm as an associate.

Nicholas has successfully appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, Financial Services Commission of Ontario, Licence Appeals Tribunal and Landlord and Tenant Board. He is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, Canadian Defence Lawyers and the Toronto Lawyers Association. He has been involved in the defence of tort claims, statutory accident benefits claims and solicitor's negligence matters as well as applications to the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal.

While away from the office, Nicholas enjoys cooking, travelling and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys professional sports, admittedly from the comfort of his couch.
