Amanda obtained a Canadian Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor and an American Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2022. Prior to attending law school, Amanda graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Sociology in 2018 and Concordia University with a Graduate Diploma in Journalism in 2019. 

Amanda has a long standing passion for writing. She previously worked as a journalist for a variety of different media companies. During law school, she acted as the Editor-in-Chief for the student paper.

Amanda engaged in many advocacy pursuits during her time in the Dual JD program. She worked at legal clinics in Windsor and Detroit, and regularly appeared in the 36th District Court. She was chosen to represent the University of Windsor in the Tort Law Moot in 2022, and finished as a finalist. 

Amanda completed her articles at a prominent Insurance Defence firm in Toronto, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023. She is currently involved in the litigation of accident benefit and tort disputes, with experience working on motor vehicle accident, occupier’s liability and property damage files.

In her personal time, Amanda enjoys travelling, cooking and staying active. She regularly goes on runs and paddle-boards with her dogs, and takes any opportunity to visit her parents at their cottage.
