Jason graduated from the University of Western Ontario Law School in 2003. He completed his articles of clerkship at a prominent Toronto insurance defence law firm in 2004. Upon his call to the Bar, he joined Laxton Glass LLP.  Jason was admitted into the partnership in 2014.

Jason has extensive experience in many areas of insurance defence litigation, including first and third party claims, coverage disputes, loss transfer and priority disputes between insurers, occupiers' liability claims, product liability and professional negligence claims.  Jason has successfully appeared numerous times before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the License Appeals Tribunal, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal and the Ontario Superior Court of justice.  

Jason is a member of the Advocates' Society, Canadian Defence Lawyers, the Ontario Bar Association and is a member-at-large of the Canadian Bar Association civil litigation section.   He has also presented seminars and written articles for a range of clients and professional organizations.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
